RSS is an acronym for Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication. It is the technology that allows Internet users to subscribe or "pull" information from various web sites and web services into an aggregator, a page or software that is specifically designed to pull together information.

Which reader to use? Feedly appears to be the most used of the mobile readers. Shawn uses it on his iPad to organize all his feeds.

If you subscribe to these posts on your own reader, then the new posts will show up without your having to remember to come and find them.

"Feedly" appears to be the most used of the "readers."  I was able to subscribe to it on my computer and am going to try out the app on my iPad (where I do most of my reading).

Here is the url for feedly:   http://feedly.com/#welcome
