ATOMIM is excited to announce our online book study, Becoming the Math Teacher You Wish You’d Had: Ideas and Strategies from Vibrant Classrooms by Tracy Zager. Kickoff Dine and Discuss meetings will be held throughout the state during October. Tracy will speak to us about her book and our dreams as math teachers.

Each week from November 2 through March 2, we will read a chapter and chat online via the ATOMIM Forum. Each chapter is power-packed with strategies to change our perceptions and our student’s perceptions about Math.

Your registration fee includes attendance at a Dine & Discuss kickoff session and participation in the book study. Additionally, if you are not currently a member of ATOMIM, your registration fee will include a one year membership.

Contact hours will be awarded at the conclusion of the book study.

For more information about the book and to order your copy, visit Stenhouse Publishers. We've done the research and Stenhouse offers the most economical price.
