Call for Presenters

We are excited to announce that ATOMIM (Association of Teachers of Mathematics in Maine) is sending out a call for presenters for our annual spring conference! Our conference will be held on Friday, March 20th at Central Maine Community College. Our theme this year is Taking Action: Reflect, Connect and Act on the Mathematical Teaching Practices.

The success of the conference depends largely on educators who are willing to share teaching ideas. A variety of workshops are encouraged. We will have 3 sets of 55 minute sessions this year.  Teachers attending the conference often look for sessions to engage them in hands-on activities.  All quality proposals will be considered. We are committed to giving our attendees quality choices across all grade levels.  If you would like to be considered as a presenter, please complete this form by December 6th.

Presenters should assume that on-site internet access will be available and that attendees will have laptops or other connected devices.

We hope you consider sharing something wonderful you do in your classroom or in your school.  In addition to this being an incredible professional growth experience, you also get the added benefit of attending the conference for free!
