In Teaching for Thinking: Forstering Mathematical Teaching Practices through Reasoning RoutinesGrace Kelemanik and Amy Lucenta examine how educators can make use of routines to make three fundamental shifts in teaching practice:

    • Focusing on thinking
    • Stepping out of the middle
    • Supporting productive struggle

With three complete new routines,  support for designing your own routine, and ideas for using routines, Teaching for Thinking will help you build new teaching habits that will support all your students to become and see themselves as capable mathematicians and scientists.

The first 200 people to register will be sent a free book!!!

    Participants will:

    • Explore Cross-curricular connections
    • Engage in statewide professional development
    • Collaborate with math and science educators
    • Participate in online discussions
    • Receive a certificate for contact hours based on participation
