Past President: Amanda Grove

Amanda Grove currently serves as a K-8 mathematics coach in RSU 22 after having taught sixth and seventh grade for the past 12 years.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2007.  More recently, in 2018, she completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics Leadership through the University of Maine at Orono.  She holds a graduate certificate in Mathematics Leadership and has completed the Maine Mathematics Coaching Project through the University of Maine at Farmington. Amanda began her teaching career at Searsport District Middle School in sixth grade, where in 2012, alongside her sixth grade teaching team, she was recognized as a finalist for the ACTEM Educator of the Year.
