Kristy Parent-Dube is a K-3 Instructional Math Coach at the Downeast School in the Bangor School Department. She has been a classroom teacher for 22 years. In 2019, Kristy completed the Maine Mathematic Coaching Program and she is currently working on obtaining a Math Interventionist Certificate at the University of Maine at Farmington.

In May of 2020, Kristy was honored to be named the 2020 Penobscot County Teacher of the Year. She has served as a (MCTL) Mathematics Community Teacher-Leader and recently assisted in writing and editing the Maine Mathematics Standards as a member of the Mathematics Standards Writing Team for the Maine Department of Education.
